Florida’s 2021 roster continues to take shape. On Friday, a report from Nick de la Torre of Gators Territory revealed the status of multiple seniors.

Per sources, de la Torre reports that safety Donovan Stiner and defensive lineman Marlon Dunlap will not be returning to UF for their free year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to COVID-19.

A former 3-star in the class of 2017, Stiner played in 46 games over the past four seasons, starting 26. In his UF career, Stiner logged 150 tackles (4 TFL), 6 interceptions, and 3 pass breakups.

Dunlap was originally part of North Carolina’s 2016 recruiting class. He transferred to Florida in 2017 and sat out that season. He appeared in 32 games over three seasons (2018-20), recording 19 total tackles.

Stiner and Dunlap’s future plans – NFL Draft, transfer portal or otherwise – are not specified in the Gators Territory report.

The report lists BUCK Jeremiah Moon, wide receiver Rick Wells, offensive lineman Stewart Reese, and offensive lineman Jean Delance as the four seniors set to return for another season with the Gators. Moon shared his plans publicly on social media while Reese’s mother shared her son’s plans with a reporter.

Decisions made by center Brett Heggie, offensive tackle Stone Forsythe and defensive back Brad Stewart were revealed by agent signing announcements.

Punter Jacob Finn, DB Quincy Lenton and DB CJ McWilliams entered the transfer portal.
