Jeremy Pruitt could not leave Knoxville without taking one final loss.

Of course, the former Tennessee coach was run out of town by the school’s administration after three seasons on the job — which resulted in a 16-19 overall record on Rocky Top — and following the discovery of multiple alleged recruiting violations that occurred under Pruitt’s watch.
