A year after having the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals sit at No. 5. Considering the talent pool, some are wondering if Cincinnati looks to LSU again for its first draft pick. If that’s the case, Ja’Marr Chase is onboard.

Chase was asked about potentially becoming a Bengal. He acknowledged that he has talked to Cincinnati. If Cincinnati does draft Chase, he would be reunited with his last quarterback.

“I wouldn’t mind going back with Joe (Burrow),” Chase told reporters, citing his prior chemistry with Burrow.

Burrow was LSU’s starting quarterback for both of Chase’s seasons with the Tigers. In 24 games at LSU, Chase caught 107 passes for 2,093 yards and 23 touchdowns.

We’ll see if the Bengals use the No. 5 pick to give Burrow a familiar target or instead get the franchise QB some help on the offensive line.
