Every college football coach talks about the need for explosive plays. Tank Bigsby and the Auburn offensive line just showed everyone how it’s done.

The Tiger offensive line opened up a hole you could drive a truck through, and Bigsby was off to the races for a 46-yard score.

Auburn had two rushing plays of 40 yards or more last season. Bigsby had a long run of 42 yards in his freshman season. In the 2020 campaign, he carried the ball 138 times for 834 yards and 5 touchdowns, leading the Tiger ground attack.

We’ll see if he builds on those numbers in a new offense under Bryan Harsin. Saturday is a good sign Bigsby won’t be experiencing a sophomore slump.
