Former Mississippi State defensive lineman Braxton Hoyett is looking for a new professional opportunity.

The Baltimore Ravens waived Hoyett this week with an injury settlement. Hoyett went unclaimed Thursday while on the waiver wire. The former Bulldog is reportedly dealing with a chest injury, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Hoyett arrived at MSU in 2014 and played from 2015-18. He landed in the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans in 2019. Last season, Hoyett was on the practice squad for the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. He appeared in one game with the Chiefs.
