Relating to the current generation of high school 5-star athletes is Nick Saban’s primary job at Alabama to bring in the top recruits. Showing them what gets him on the dance floor at wedding receptions may be another way he lures a big-time recruit.

Speaking with Ryan McGee and Marty Smith on the SEC Network for their upcoming show “Talkin’ Season,’ Saban at SEC Media Days revealed that it’s not “The Wobble” or the “Cupid Shuffle.”

“I like all them line dances that they do,” Saban said. “But you know in the old days, jitterbugging, in our younger days, me and Miss Terry both, you had to be able to dance. If you couldn’t dance, at least one third of your social existence was eliminated.”

Since this was recorded in July at SEC Media Days, Saban will no doubt hear about his dance moves when he was younger after the show airs this week.
