Lane Kiffin is pulling out all the stops to build a big crowd for Ole Miss’ first home game of the season this week against Austin Peay.

Kiffin missed Monday’s game against Louisville because of a positive COVID-19 test, but expects to be back on the sidelines on Saturday.

Before then, he took to social media to ask Rebel fans and even pop star Katy Perry to help with the home crowd.

“Hey Rebel Nation, what a great Monday night,” he said in a video posted to social media. “The Rebs are 1-0, but now it’s time to come home to the Vaught. We need the thing full and rocking. So don’t sit around and say I’m going to wait until the SEC games. We need you there Saturday night. We’re looking forward to the Walk of Champions, our first together. So come out and support us, so our players feel it in the stadium as they run out there, but also so recruits see a big-time college atmosphere, which is what we want, Hotty Toddy!”
