After winning by 2 points, Alabama decided it was time for a “2 Bits” troll for Florida.

The Crimson Tide pulled out a 31-29 road win over the Gators on Saturday in a competitive SEC opener between the teams. Even though Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country, Florida kept things interesting until the final minutes, even nearly finding a way to tie the game late.

However, the Tide couldn’t be taken down. And now, they again have bragging rights over the Gators after their eighth consecutive win in the series between the programs.

So on Monday, Alabama trolled Florida with the weekly game win poster it shares on Twitter:

For those unfamiliar with Gators traditions, they have an honorary guest at every game who serves as the “Mr. 2 Bits” for that matchup. The late George Edmondson was the original “Mr. 2 Bits,” as he led a “2 Bits” cheer at Florida home games from 1949-2008, at which point the Gators started bringing in celebrities to fulfill that role following his retirement.

Although former Florida basketball player Bradley Beal served as the honorary “Mr. 2 Bits” this past Saturday, he couldn’t quite cheer the Gators to victory against Alabama.
