One of the biggest plays in Tennessee’s 62-24 road win at Missouri on Saturday was a 92-yard first quarter touchdown run by Vols’ junior running back Tiyon Evans.

On Monday in Knoxville, UT offensive lineman Ollie Lane shared his thoughts on the big Evans TD gallop. Rocky Top Insider tweeted the video of Lane at the podium Monday. Lane could be seen throwing up his hands to make the “touchdown” signal during the play, well before Evans crossed the goal line.

Tennessee (3-2, 1-1 SEC) rushed for 458 yards on Saturday, giving the Vols more than 400 yards rushing in a single game for the first time since November 26, 1994 (406 vs. Vanderbilt).

The 92-yard run by Evans was the third-longest in UT’s program history. Tennessee hosts South Carolina at noon on Saturday, October 9.
