While No. 2 Georgia (5-0, 3-0 SEC) has had very few concerns through its first 5 games of 2021, one of the only issues for the Bulldogs has been an inconsistent injury report each week.

The quarterback position has been no exception to the injury bug in Athens, as starter JT Daniels missed last week’s UGA win over No. 13 Arkansas with an injury to his lat. In his place, head coach Kirby Smart  has used senior Stetson Bennett, who has started 2 of the 4 games he has played in this year.

On Tuesday, Smart met with media members after practice. Of note, Smart revealed Bennett has a knee laceration, “but it has not and is not bothering him.”

Here is the tweet from Anthony Dasher:

Bennett has thrown for 515 yards and 6 touchdowns on 29-of-41 passing this season. Georgia plays at No. 18 Auburn (4-1, 1-0) Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff will be broadcast on CBS.
