Jimbo Fisher is getting ready to face Alabama this week, and for the Aggies offense, that means preparing for LB Will Anderson.

“His length, his size, his explosion,” Fisher said on the SEC coaches media teleconference. “You talk about his athleticism, but he’s a technically sound football player. … There’s a lot of little things about him. … He has quickness, he has flexibility and that allows him to create power, too. … He’s an exceptional football player.”

Since Fisher and the Aggies square off against Alabama, he said they aren’t distracted by the Crimson Tide’s success because of the familiarity they have with the No. 1 team.

“You respect what they do, but you’re not in awe of them,” Fisher said. “Our players play them all the time. I don’t see that as an issue. We respect what they do. … They’re human like you are. They work hard and they play well, but we can do the same things. … Being in the same conference with them, you’re familiar with them.”
