One of the key matchups this week in the SEC will be No. 12 Ole Miss against LSU.

ESPN’s Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica joined “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning” on WJOX out of Birmingham, Alabama to talk about what he likes about the matchup from a betting standpoint.

The first thing Fallica brought up was what he thinks about the line moving before the game. The line originally opened at 11.5, and is now sitting at 8 ahead of the matchup.

“I think the line move is simply because we don’t know the status of Matt Corral,” said Fallica. “We’re trying to get to double digits with LSU, and maybe you get yourself a nice middle. You’re cooking with a couple of key numbers there.”

Fallica also stated that he’s a little cautious about the game since Corral is injured going into it. Corral was injured during the Tennessee game last week, and his status this week is unknown.

“I don’t have a great feel on this game mainly because of the Corral injury,” said Fallica. “Mainly because of the other injuries that Ole Miss has on offense.”

Lastly, Fallica stated he’s afraid to bet on this game because of the drama surrounding LSU.

“LSU, what way are they gonna go,” said Fallica. “The Coach O situation was taken care of behind the scenes, but it really wasn’t known. Was it that we got the last win, and now we’re gonna tank? Or is it, it’s Coach O’s last year so we’re gonna go out and play and try to win?
