C.J. Uzomah's 2 touchdowns in rout of Baltimore Ravens help him reach career high
C.J. Uzomah had another big game for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday as the former Auburn tight end caught all 3 targets in his direction, and had 91 receiving yards with 2 touchdowns.
Those gave him 5 touchdowns on the season, which is good for a new single season career high. His previous season high of touchdowns was 3 in 2018, and since he entered the NFL, Uzomah hasn’t had more than 2 scores in any other season before now.
After the game, QB Joe Burrow quipped, “That’s all I heard about was National Tight Ends Day.”
Uzomah told reporters after the game that, “On the sidelines, I was honestly a little emotional with how connected we were. That locker room right now is lit.”
