Mike Leach is not having a good day.

The Mississippi State coach is looking at a double-digit halftime deficit against Auburn and fans have seemingly had enough.

The 17th-ranked Tigers are up 28-10 at halftime and looking to hand the Bulldogs back-to-back losses. Auburn put up more than 300 yards of offense in the first half at nearly 9 yards a pop. Quarterback Bo Nix lit up the Mississippi State defense for more than 200 yards passing and 2 scores.

Meanwhile, Leach’s offense is averaging just over 4 yards per play and 2.2 yards per rush.

Mississippi State is 5-4 on the year, and things have been a roller coaster each week. They’ve beaten Texas A&M on the road and Kentucky at home, but hold losses to Memphis, LSU, Alabama (big), and Arkansas last week after joining the College Football Playoff Top 25.

The prospect of a big loss this week has fans feeling a little anxious.
