Former Alabama offensive lineman D.J. Fluker was released this week from the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad after he didn’t play a game for the Raiders.

Fluker, was the starting right tackle for the Crimson Tide’s 2011 and 2012 BCS national championship teams, entered the NFL as the 11th player picked in the 2013 NFL Draft. He played right tackle in his first 2 seasons and right guard in the next 2 with the San Diego Chargers.

Last season, Fluker played right guard and right tackle for the Baltimore Ravens. He started half of the 16 regular-season games and also played in 2 postseason contests.

Las Vegas now has 7 former Alabama players on its roster, including former Alabama long snapper Carson Tinker along with Kenyan Drake, Josh Jacobs, Alex Leatherwood and Damion Square. Las Vegas also has Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Lester Cotton on its practice squad.
