South Carolina will have to look for more depth in its defensive secondary after a second defensive back has entered the transfer portal in a matter of 3 days.

South Carolina defensive back Dominick Hill entered the portal on Wednesday as he looks for a change of scenery, The Big Spur reported. Hill followed fellow defensive back Jahmar Brown in the transfer portal, who made his move earlier this week.

Hill had limited action this season, and made 6 tackles in 12 games, primarily on special teams. Hill was in his second season in the program and made 5 appearances in games as a true freshman in 2020 after he enrolled in January.

Hill is from Orlando, Florida and chose the Gamecocks over schools like UCF, Miami, Nebraska and Missouri.
