About 2 weeks ago, Auburn OL Tashawn Manning announced that he would enter the transfer portal and look to play somewhere else. On Monday, Manning announced on Instagram that he would play at Kentucky.

Manning spent 5 years at Auburn after a redshirt season in 2017, and later served as a backup guard in 2018 and 2019, then became the starting left guard in 2020. This season, the Apopka, Florida native who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 335 pounds played in 12 games at both left and right guard, and started the final 3 at left guard.

“I want to extend a great big thank you to my parents, my sister, my girlfriend and all the fans, coaches, and universities who showed me love during this decision making process,” Manning wrote. “It is now time for me to take the next step in my collegiate career. With that being said I have decided to use my last year of eligibility at the university of kentucky.”
