Kentucky had 1 final commit who hadn’t signed a national letter of intent. And he was also its best.

Kiyaunta Goodwin didn’t sign on Wednesday, the 1st day of the early signing period. But the Wildcats didn’t have to wait much longer. On Thursday, they announced that Goodwin had signed, becoming their 20th and final commit to do so.

Goodwin is a 5-star offensive tackle who currently attends Charlestown (Ind.) High School. He is the No. 4 tackle and No. 25 overall recruit in the 2022 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Kentucky currently has the No. 11 class in the 247Sports Composite team rankings, with Goodwin being its lone 5-star recruit. It also has 8 4-stars and 10 3-stars.

Goodwin had been committed to the Wildcats since April 17, but he hadn’t stopped visiting other schools. He went to Michigan State this past weekend, and he also took trips to Michigan, Texas A&M and Florida State last month.

However, Goodwin honored his commitment and became Kentucky’s top signing of the 2022 class.
