Missouri safety Shawn Robinson has entered the transfer portal, Missouri confirmed to reporters, including Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

A former 4-star recruit, Robinson went to Missouri as a transfer QB from TCU, and briefly played quarterback at Missouri before he transitioned to defense. He had 5 tackles last season in 5 games.

Robinson may be remembered for being the starting quarterback at the beginning of the Eli Drinkwitz era. He completed 20 of 29 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown.

This year, he appeared in 8 games at safety, and started 4 of them. He was sidelined by injury, but returned for the bowl game where he made 8 tackles. Robinson totaled 31 tackles, a sack and an interception on the year.
