Jaylen Waddle is not only catching touchdowns, the former Alabama star is also setting records.

Waddle with his third catch of the game for the Miami Dolphins against the New England Patriots, a 5-yard grab in the first quarter, Waddle collected his 102nd reception of the season to break the record previously set by the Arizona Cardinals’ Anquan Boldin in 2003. Boldin (101) and Waddle are the only 2 rookie receivers in NFL history with 100 catches.

By late in the second half, Waddle has 4 catches for 25 yards on 5 targets, with the TD, his sixth of the season.

Waddle came into the day with 99 catches for 988 yards.

The Dolphins’ high pick of Waddle has paid off. The Dolphins selected Waddle with the sixth overall pick in the NFL Draft over another Alabama receiver, Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith. It was the highest Miami has ever taken a wideout.
