James Cook, the dynamic Georgia running back, has announced plans for the 2022 season.

Cook wrote on Instagram that Monday night still feels surreal because the national championship was the ultimate goal of his college career and he accomplished it in Indianapolis over Alabama. Cook thanked his family, the coaching staff, and said “4 out” as he indicated he would depart for the NFL Draft.

It’s not a surprise since Cook already accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl.

Cook had 77 rushing yards against Alabama on 6 carries, and he also had 2 catches for 15 yards.

Cook for the season had 728 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns, and caught 27 passes for 284 yards and 4 touchdowns. Cook played in 50 games at Georgia and rushed for 1,503 yards and 14 touchdowns, and had 730 yards with 6 touchdowns.
