Georgia released the details of Bryan McClendon’s contract Tuesday and while most of the details were already previously reported, like his $700,000 annual salary. Seth Emerson of the Athletic added some new tidbits that included a one-time payment in March.

As Emerson points out it’s hard to know what McClendon’s full buyout with Miami was since the private school doesn’t have to release those details.

McClendon, 38, is entering his 16th year as a coach with 9 of them at Georgia, his alma mater. He played football for the Bulldogs from 2002-2005 and became a graduate assistant in 2007. From there McClendon moved his way up to running backs coach, recruiting coordinator and eventually assistant head coach under Mark Richt in 2015.

He spent four seasons at South Carolina as the co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach before going to Oregon in 2020 where was wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator.

McClendon was set to follow Mario Cristobal from Oregon to Miami and take on the role of co-offensive coordinator, but Georgia offered him a job as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator to replace Cortez Hankton on January 31.
