Former Missouri running back Tyler Badie was cut by the Baltimore Ravens Tuesday ahead of the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline.

Badie was drafted in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Ravens signed former Las Vegas Raiders and Alabama running back Kenyan Drake Tuesday morning just before the deadline. It now seems Drake was a move to replace Badie after a rough past couple of weeks in Baltimore. He totaled 23 carries for just 67 yards across his three preseason appearances this year.

Badie was a star in Columbia, though. He was a force in the backfield, rushing for 2,740 yards with 23 touchdowns and 126 receptions for 1,149 yards and 11 touchdowns.

It’s unlikely that Badie’s career in the NFL is over. He’s likely to be added to a practice squad around the league.
