Florida could not have asked for a better start to its season with a monumental upset over No. 7 Utah. Can the Gators keep their winning ways alive in Week 2?

The No. 12 Gators return to ‘The Swamp’ for their first SEC matchup of the season against No. 20 Kentucky. Led by coach Mark Stoops and quarterback Will Levis, the Wildcats have been a trendy pick to compete for the SEC East title alongside Georgia following their success during the 2021 campaign.

The stakes are at an all-time high for both teams. Off the field, the Gators might take the cake after posting this epic hype video to entice fans Friday evening to their social media page.

The Billy Napier era could not have gotten off to a better start.  Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson was the team’s x-factor, totaling 274 yards of offense and 3 touchdowns, including the game winning 1-yard run with less than 90 seconds remaining.

Levis impressed in his first start under new offensive coordinator Rick Scangarello, throwing for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns against 1 interception. Former Virginia Tech wide receiver Tayvion Robinson filled in well as Wan’Dale Robinson’s replacement, tallying 6 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm. ET. The Gators open as a -5.5 favorite over the Wildcats, according to FanDuel.
