John Parker Wilson praised Alabama’s direction ahead of the Arkansas game on Saturday.

Alabama trounced Vanderbilt 55-3 in Week 4. It was a convincing win from start to finish and the Crimson Tide remained undefeated. That was Alabama’s 1st conference win of the season and it set the tone for the rest of Alabama’s conference schedule.

In an appearance on “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning,” Wilson discussed Alabama’s successful start to the season. He was confident in Alabama’s direction:

“I think Alabama is trending in the right direction after 4 weeks,” Wilson said. “We go on the road. It’s going to be a tough road test this week. Hopefully, we’ve learned from the Texas road game earlier in the season. This is going to be a tough game and you can pull a lot from the Vanderbilt game.”

In college, Wilson played 4 seasons at Alabama. He was the program’s starting quarterback from 2006 to 2008. He understood the importance of winning big games at Alabama and he felt this season’s team can keep winning games.

This week’s game will be against a ranked Arkansas team. In Week 4, Arkansas suffered a devastating 23-21 loss to Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas. The Razorbacks want to bounce back against the Crimson Tide on Saturday.
