Paul Finebaum reacted to one of the top debates of this year’s College Football Playoff discussions: TCU versus Tennessee, and how the teams should be viewed from a resume standpoint.

Finebaum addressed which team is more likely to make the Playoff.

“I think it’s far more likely Tennessee gets in, and it’s just a matter of schedule,” he said on ESPN’s First Take. “Tennessee doesn’t have much left. They have Missouri, Vanderbilt and South Carolina. On the other hand … they’re playing at Texas, and then Baylor. So I just don’t think TCU can get through that, and if somehow TCU gets through that, they’ll still have to play one of those in the Big 12 Championship Game. I think their path is very difficult.”

Texas is a touchdown favorite against the Horned Frogs this week, and the Baylor game for TCU is also on the road. Both opponents are 6-3.
