Mike Leach didn’t say many specifics about the officiating in the loss to Georgia, but he hinted around the subject enough to understand his feelings.

About the 45-19 loss to Georgia, Leach told reporters after the game that State left 2 obvious scores, but overall did more good things than bad.

As for being on the same level as the reigning national champion, Leach said he’d ask every other team in the nation that’s below Georgia what their feelings are about being on Georgia’s level.

Speaking about 2 of the heavyweights in the SEC, Leach said, “Georgia presented a bigger challenge, and I thought we played Georgia better than we played Alabama.”
