As Kentucky prepares for an in-state rivalry game against visiting Louisville, quarterback Will Levis has set a timeline to announce whether he’ll participate in a bowl game.

The 6-foot-3 senior, who is jockeying with Alabama quarterback Bryce Young atop CBS Sports’ 2023 NFL mock draft, confirmed that he’s going to discuss the situation with his coaches and inner circle prior to making the decision.

Levis told reporters on Tuesday that he would talk with his family and coach Mark Stoops after the UofL game.

Levis has completed 174 of his 264 passes for 2,218 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions with a QBR of 58.9. Levis has 3 performances this season of at least 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. Levis passed for 206 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception in Kentucky’s 16-6 loss against Georgia on Saturday.

For his career, Levis has completed 468 of his 719 passes to go with 5,688 yards, 44 touchdowns, 25 interceptions, and a passer rating of 144.8.

“He’s a Day 1 pick and his size and skill set, among other qualities like his leadership ability, jump off the page when evaluating him,” 247Sports’ Brad Crawford said.

Kentucky-Louisville is slated for a 3 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on the SEC Network. Kentucky leads the all-time series 18-15, with wins in the last 3 matchups.
