Jalin Hyatt has been announced as the Biletnikoff Award winner after an impressive 2022 season.

The Biletnikoff Award is given annually to the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver.

Hyatt finished the 2022 season with 67 catches for 1,267 yards and 15 TDs. Hyatt’s 15 receiving TDs were tied for the most in the nation.

Hyatt stepped up in a big way for the Volunteers in 2022. After Cedric Tillman missed 6 games due to injury, Hyatt quickly became the No. 1 receiver for the team. Hyatt’s 1,267 yards is just 31 yards short of the single-season record for the Volunteers set by Robert Meachem in 2006.

Hyatt set the Volunteers’ record for receiving TDs in a season, passing the previous record of 13 set by Marcus Nash in 1997.

Hyatt is predicted to be a 1st-round pick if he decides to leave Knoxville.
