South Carolina defensive back Darius Rush announced he would be entering the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday, taking to Twitter with a video to share the news.

Rush describes his time with the Gamecocks as a dream come true as he reflected on his time and accomplishments in Columbia.

Rush ended out the 2022 season with 38 total tackles (28 solo), 7 passes defended, 2 interceptions and 1 forced fumble. He finishes out a college career of 4 seasons with the Gamecocks with 75 combined tackles (61 solo), 15 passes defended, 3 interceptions, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble.

It will be interesting to see where he lands next as he prepares to take his talents to the next level. South Carolina will play its next game in the Gator Bowl against Notre Dame on Dec. 30.
