Bryce Young has a pretty strong chance of going No. 1 overall, but not currently to the team that owns the No. 1 pick.

The Chicago Bears earned the worst record in the NFL this season and are officially on the clock for the 2023 NFL Draft. On Get Up Tuesday morning, Mike Tannenbaum, a current ESPN insider, said he thinks the Bears should trade high-potential quarterback Justin Fields and draft the Alabama star.

Young is the most gifted quarterback in the class, but anyone who knows the Bears’ situation knows what an unpopular take this is. Chicago is in a rebuilding state and needs defensive help and weapons to surround their young, upcoming star quarterback in Fields. Fill in another star quarterback and fail to give him any weapons and you set yourself back another few years.

Not only would that be bad for the Bears, it would be a bad landing spot for Young The more likely scenario is Chicago trading back to a team that wants to draft the star QB over the Houston Texans, perhaps Indianapolis or Carolina, to name a few.

What do you think of Tannenbaum’s take? Where will Young end up?
