Kirby Smart already has his eyes forward. During Tuesday morning’s National Championship press conference, Smart revealed that he is “already concerned about” next season (likely means “with) after basking in a victory Monday night.

Sounds crazy, but that’s just the mindset high-level championship coaches have to have if they want to continue to win. Never satisfied.

Not to mention, the Bulldogs have a long flight home from Los Angeles. That’s a lot of thinking from the Bulldogs head coach.

The Bulldogs became the first team in the CFP era to repeat as champions. Smart is obviously focused on becoming the first to 3-peat.

And at this point, why doubt them?
