Blake Smith began his college career at Texas A&M. Now, he’s on the move via the transfer portal, revealing his next destination on Monday.

A former 3-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, Smith entered the transfer portal following the 2022 season and announced a commitment to Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-4 Smith joined the Aggies as a 3-star prospect out of Southlake Carroll High School. He was rated the No. 24 TE nationally by the 247 Sports Composite coming out of high school with Power 5 offers from across the country.

While Smith did not make much of an impact while at Texas A&M he will join the Sooners and try to carve out a role with Brent Venables’ program. Oklahoma continues to overhaul the roster via the portal with transfers from TE Austin Stogner, EdgeDasan McCullough and WR Andrel Anthony included in the transfer haul this offseason.
