On the final day players can enter the transfer portal during the current window, Ole Miss has seen a flurry of activity.

Wideout Jaylon Robinson, linebacker Ashanti Cistrunk, cornerback Davison Igbinosun, and safety Tysheem Johnson have all officially entered the portal, according to multiple reports. Johnson and Igbinosun had previously announced their plans of transferring.

Robinson was an All-AAC selection while at Central Florida, then transferred to Ole Miss ahead of the 2022 season. After recording just 5 catches for 29 yards with the Rebels in 2022, he’s transferring again.

The 5-foot-9 playmaker from Fort Worth, Texas, originally began his career at Oklahoma in 2018. He was a 3-star prospect coming out of high school, and played in only four games to preserve a redshirt.

He spent three seasons with the Knights in Orlando. In 2020, he broke out in a major way, hauling in 55 receptions for 979 yards and six touchdowns in 10 appearances. Injuries limited him to 7 appearances in 2021 (with 322 yards on 18 catches) and after the season he sought a fresh start in Oxford.

His role within the Ole Miss offense never materialized, and now he’s on the move again.

As for Cistrunk, the 6-foot-1 linebacker from Louisville, Mississippi has been a piece of the Rebel defense ever since he stepped foot on campus. He played right away in 2019 as a true freshman. As a sophomore in 2020, he had 32 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

The following season, he had another 30 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss.

In 2022, Cistrunk finished 5th on the Ole Miss defense with 72 tackles. He’ll depart Oxford with 137 career stops, 6.5 TFLs, 3 pass breakups, 3 forced fumbles, 2 sacks, and an interception.
