Smith played in only 4 games in 2022 before being sidelined with a season-ending injury. He was on his way to a career-year before suffering the injury. He caught 15 passes for 291 yards and 2 touchdowns across those 4 contests.

For his career, Smith has 127 catches for 1,612 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Aggies. He recorded back-to-back 500+ yard seasons in 2020 and 2021, becoming a consistent weapon in Texas A&M’s offense.

Smith is a former 3-star cornerback prospect who found his way into Texas A&M’s offense almost immediately. Even as a true freshman, Smith caught 22 passes for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Texas A&M’s offense will be hoping to take a big step forward in 2023.
