Elijah Griffin will be on campus at Georgia later this week.

Griffin announced that news on Sunday afternoon. The talented defensive lineman is set to arrive in Athens on June 1, he said.

He’s that announcement:

Griffin is a priority target for the Bulldogs — and virtually every other top program in the country. His offer list includes Notre Dame, Florida, Auburn, Florida State, South Carolina, Alabama and Michigan State, amongst others.

He’s the No. 1 overall prospect nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He won’t have to travel far to get to Athens. Griffin attends Savannah Christian Prep in Savannah, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 270 pounds.

It’s still early in the 2025 recruiting cycle, so Griffin has plenty of time before he has to make a final decision. However, Georgia appears to be in good position to be a top choice for Griffin.

Georgia is off to a fast start in the class of 2025. The Bulldogs have 5 commitments in their class so far. The group ranks No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
