Eli Drinkwitz reacts to Mizzou’s 2024 schedule
Eli Drinkwitz finally got to see his team’s 2024 schedule on Wednesday.
The coach was in the middle of an in-home recruiting visit when he appeared on the SEC Network to discuss his team’s schedule.
“What is our schedule?” Drinkwitz asked. “I haven’t had time to check it out.”

The entire 12-game schedule was read off to Drinkwitz, who demonstrated his strong memory by immediately reciting the schedule back in order.
“Very excited about the schedule,” Drinkwitz declared. “I think it sets up really nice. I think two bye weeks are really good for college football.”
The Tigers will have a bye on Sept. 28 and Nov. 2, after the Vanderbilt and Alabama games, respectively. The Tigers open the season with 4 consecutive home games: against Murray State, Buffalo, Boston College, and Vanderbilt.
“It’s a very difficult schedule, but I do think it’s very balanced,” Drinkwitz explained. “It’ll be a lot of fun. A lot of unknowns yet, because, we’re really not sure what any of the teams we’re going to be playing are going to be playing with until this portal settles in.”
