The 67th meeting between the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks might have been the best of them all. The Bulldogs and Gamecocks traded touchdowns all afternoon, providing an instant classic for college football fans.

Dylan Thompson threw for 271 yards on 21-of-30 passing with three touchdowns and an interception. Redshirt junior running back Brandon Wilds had a big day, rushing for an important 93 yards on 14 carries and a go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

After the Gamecocks dominated the first half and took a 24-13 lead to the locker room, the ‘Dawgs and Gamecocks traded blows in the second half. Carolina sealed the game on a controversial 4th down measurement.

84,232 people – the fifth largest crowd in Williams-Brice Stadium history – braved a weather delay of more than hour but got their money’s worth.
