Junior tailback Todd Gurley is one of four players nationally that have been named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll by the Louisville Sports Commission.

The award is given to the nation’s most versatile college football players.

Gurley, a native of Tarboro, N.C., finished with a school-record 293 all-purpose yards in Saturday’s 45-21 win over Clemson.  He also tied an NCAA record with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.  It was Gurley’s second career 100-yard return for a score.

Former Bulldog Brandon Boykin won the 2011 Paul Hornung Award.
