Jeff Driskel has struggled during his junior season. The Florida quarterback has 636 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions on 65-of-116 passing. Driskel is coming off a 42-21 loss to No. 3 Alabama in Week 4 that saw him throw for just 93 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions on 9-of-28 passing.

But a bye week should help the experienced starter bounce back from a disappointing performance. Driskel looks to extend Florida’s annual winning streak to ten games on Saturday. For the Gators to be successful, Driskel must have an efficient performance. Tennessee fields its best defense in several years and will bring pressure to the Gators quarterback.

The talented linebacking corps of A.J. Johnson and Jalen Reeves-Maybin will pressure the backfield and play a strong contain behind a young front four. Driskel will need to improve on his QB vision facing a talented defense. He must avoid mistakes against a talented secondary that intercepted Hutson Mason twice last week.

Florida will live and die on how Driskel performs on Saturday. He is the single most important player for the Gators entering this weekend’s game.If he plays consistent, Florida a strong chance to pull off a road upset. However, if Driskel makes mistakes, the Vols will be in position to break Gators’ annual winning streak.
