The Missouri Tigers are now on their second important game of a three-game stretch. This weekend, Mizzou will travel to Tennessee to take on the Volunteers. It’s simple — Missouri loses and it loses its shot at the SEC Championship.

Let’s take a look at the good and bad numbers for the Tigers.

The Good

587: yards of offense against Texas A&M. Missouri’s offense finally got in a groove Saturday night, posting its highest numbers of the season.

9: rushing touchdowns by Russell Hansbrough. Although his nine rushing touchdowns places him only tied for seventh in the SEC, Hansbrough impressively is tied with stars like Mike Davis and Nick Chubb.

2: interceptions by Maty Mauk. After throwing eight interceptions in his first six games, the sophomore quarterback has settled down. In his last four games, he’s only thrown two picks.

The Bad

2: SEC games left for Missouri. The Tigers’ goal of reaching Atlanta will take another two wins, including one on the road against an energized Tennessee team.

47.5: Since making Joshua Dobbs the full-time starting quarterback, Tennessee’s offense has been on an absolute tear. The Vols average 47.5 points per game and recently just put up 50 points on the Kentucky Wildcats.

1: touchdown. Mauk has played in three road SEC games so far this season and he hasn’t been very productive, throwing just one touchdown and two interceptions in those matchups.
