Kentucky faces its second bye week before a season finale at Louisville in Week 14. The Wildcats have lost their last five straight games. Here’s a look inside the numbers.

THE GOOD

31: Alvin “Bud” Dupree has 31 career sacks in four seasons. Dupree leads Kentucky with 6.5 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss through 11 games. The senior DE/LB looks to cap off a stellar career with his first bowl game appearance.

102: Josh Forrest leads the SEC with 102 tackles. Forrest is averaging 9.3 tackles and is coming off a season-best 20 tackles against Tennessee. The junior has recorded double-digit tackles in five games.

THE BAD

168: Patrick Towles has struggled during Kentucky’s losing streak. Aside from a career-best performance against Mississippi State, the redshirt sophomore hasn’t recorded 200 passing yards. The quarterback hasn’t been consistent in several weeks and the Wildcats have suffered.

3.3: Kentucky is averaging 3.3 yards per carry during its losing streak. The Wildcats were held under 100 rushing yards in two games and struggled to find a leading rusher. In recent weeks, Stanley “Boom” Williams has emerged as the feature back. But Kentucky went through a gauntlet of potential starters before deciding on Williams as the starter.

5-1: Kentucky remains one game shy of ending its three-year bowl drought. However, the Wildcats have been caught in a tailspin since entering the toughest part of their schedule. Kentucky will use its second bye week to prepare for its biggest game of the season.
