Rivalry week. For the fans, a win against your rival will make your season no matter how bad it’s gone.

As a player, I absolutely loved this week. Everyone is more amped and more focused. Going into Death Valley Jr. and beating Clemson was one of my most favorite wins in my career.

There isn’t a better feeling as a player than going into a hostile environment and shutting up all those people.

Looking at the games this weekend, the quarterback with the toughest task has to be Maty Mauk of Missouri. He does get the luxury of playing at home, but he faces a very good Arkansas team. We all know that Mauk has talent. He’s also had an up-and-down season. He’s going to need to play his absolute best game this weekend if they want to win and play for a SEC championship.

The Razorbacks defense is one of the best at stopping the run, so the game will fall on the shoulders and arm of Mauk. If he and the Tigers offense can make plays and move the chains like they did against Tennessee last week, they do have a chance to win this game. I think this will be one of the most interesting games because I want to see how that Missouri defensive line can hold up against this Razorbacks ground game. They have two of the best pass rushers in the entire country, but Arkansas is a run heavy offense.

If Maty Mauk and the Missouri offense can control the clock and move the chains I think they have a chance to win and shatter the dreams of Georgia fans. I have doubted and bet against Missouri pretty much all season long and they have shut all of us doubters up. We will see what they can do this week against the revamped Razorbacks. Missouri will need Mauk’s “A” game if they have any chance to win this. If they beat Arkansas, there is no doubt that Missouri deserves to be in the SEC championship game. They will absolutely earn the respect of all the doubters as well. I can’t wait to watch this game.
