In the world of big-time college football, it can sometimes be easy to forget what the men in pads really are: college kids.

As we debate adding playoff games, rule changes and whether or not players deserve to get some sort of financial reward for fueling the many millions of dollars that flow forth from football programs, it’s easy to overlook that the majority of players are in school planning to get a degree.
