Alabama will hit the road for their first true away game of the season on Saturday, taking on the No. 11 Mississippi Rebels in Oxford, Miss. The Rebels come in with the same 4-0 record as Alabama, having knocked off Memphis at home last weekend.

Here’s a rundown of the players for Alabama fans to keep an eye on when Saturday rolls around.

  • QB Bo Wallace: How Wallace handles Alabama’s defense will be a huge determinant in Ole Miss’ performance, if not the biggest factor. Wallace has thrown for 1,271 yards, second in the SEC, and 11 TD. He’s also thrown 6 INT already, and has a history of not making the most sound decisions on the field. If he can keep his mistakes to an absolute minimum (which could be helped by coach Hugh Freeze avoiding risky playcalls), Ole Miss will be in good position for an upset.
  • WR Laquon Treadwell: The sophomore receiver has been as good as advertised for Ole Miss, with 307 yards and 3 TD through four games, both right near the top of the SEC. Treadwell has the speed to get behind the secondary, as he did for his two scores last week, and the size at 6-foot-2 and nearly 230 pounds to give defensive backs major problems.
  • CB Senquez Golson: We’ll hear Golson’s name plenty on Saturday, as he’s going to be lining up across from star Crimson Tide wide receiver Amari Cooper all afternoon. The cornerback already has 3 interceptions on the season, including one for a touchdown.
  • S Cody Prewitt: Prewitt is a first-round NFL pick in the making, and he’ll be the man patrolling the back line for the Rebels on Saturday. He has fantastic size (6-foot-2, 217 pounds), speed and ball skills. Plus, his trash talk got the week off to a great start.
  • DT Robert Nkemdiche: The former No. 1 recruit in the country has lived up to that ranking so far, earning freshman All-America honors last season and preseason All-SEC recognition this year. Nkemdiche has blossomed into a star, and he’ll be the man trying to disrupt Alabama’s offense at the point of attack.
