The Bengals starting quarterback sustained an injury to his throwing hand in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Steelers, meaning Cincinnati would have to turn to former Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron for the remainder of the contest.

McCarron wasted little time finding former Georgia WR A.J. Green a little “SEC to SEC magic” in the second quarter.

Green went deep and McCarron put it on a rope. It was a beautiful connection for McCarron’s first NFL touchdown toss.
