Alabama assistant pokes fun at rival edits heading into 2018 NFL Draft
Josh Gattis may not have been around for the building of Alabama’s dynasty but he’s doing his part to make sure the program’s success continues well into the future.
Alabama’s receivers coach has been talking a big game since arriving in Tuscaloosa this offseason and using the Crimson Tide’s incredible accolades to back up his recruiting pitches. It should come as no surprise that the ‘Bama assistant is doing the same heading into the 2018 NFL Draft considering so many former Crimson Tide players expected to hear their names called in the NFL’s latest selection process.
Check out what Gattis had to say, calling out other draft edits in the process:
All These draft edits are Cute! There’s a BIG difference between what’s ? & what’s REAL!

The Alabama assistant didn’t mention any names specifically but acknowledging Jeremy Pruitt and his staff have taken some heat from alumni of Tennessee, as well as local media and fans, for promoting their history with players at rival SEC programs, this seems to be a logical target of Gattis’ tweet.
If you missed the promo tweet sent out recently by Tennessee, here it is featuring players from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and LSU among others:

Here is another one sent by Alabama rival Texas A&M a few weeks ago. It features players the Aggie staff coached at rival programs, as well:

With a few more Alabama players expected to be called before the night is finished, there’s a good chance we haven’t heard the last from Gattis tonight.
