Nate Oats and Alabama received some huge news on Monday when 5-star 2022 forward Brandon Miller announced on CBS Sports that he is committing to Alabama.

Miller is a 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from Antioch, Tennessee (Cane Ridge), and is the No. 11 overall prospect in 247Sports Composite, and the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee. He’s Nate Oats’ second 5-star commitment of this cycle after Jaden Bradley, a point guard. Miller was recruited by Bryan Hodgson, and chose Alabama over taking the professional route.

His other finalists were Kansas and Tennessee State.

Miller was previously set to make his college announcement on Sept. 27th but decided to push it back, give his decision more thought, add one more school to his finalists – Kansas – and take visits to Lawrence and the G League Ignite facility, 247Sports reported. Miller visited all of his finalists except the National Basketball League in Australia.
