Alabama trounced Texas A&M 82-63 in the SEC Tournament championship game on Sunday afternoon.

This is the Crimson Tide’s 2nd conference championship in the last 3 seasons. Alabama also won the title in 2021, beating LSU.

Brandon Miller and Jahvon Quinerly led the Tide to victory, scoring 23 and 22 points, respectively. Millers’ big burst came in the 2nd half. He scored 15 points and hit a trio of 3-pointers after halftime to help stave off any potential Texas A&M comeback.

Quinerly was excellent in the 1st half. He scored 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting before the break, leading all players in scoring. Quinerly was also named MVP of Alabama’s 2021 SEC Tournament title game victory.

Alabama is expected to be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament when the bracket is revealed on Sunday evening. The Crimson Tide have never been a No. 1 seed in program history prior to this season.

Alabama is in contention for the No. 1 overall seed. Kansas, widely considered to be the other top contender, lost to Texas in the Big 12 title game on Saturday.

The full bracket will be revealed on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET.
