Former Clemson star Hunter Renfrow is a known nemesis for Alabama fans because of his production in big games against Alabama, most notably the game-winning catch on an out route in the 2017 national championship.

Renfrow had 10 catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns in that game, including the game-winner with one second remaining.

Noted Alabama fan Jermaine “FunnyMaine” Johnson put a request out to fans when he came in contact with Renfrow, and asked for help on Twitter. The replies were predictably hilarious:

  • “Set an illegal pick so he can leave the room”
  • “Ask him what it was like to help Coach Howard move the rock”
  • “Wish him a happy 42nd birthday”
  • “Ask him how he got 7 years of eligibility”
  • “Ask him what it was like to fight in the Civil War”
  • “Take him out for an early dinner at Golden Corral?”
  • “Ask to see his id. With that hair line there’s no way he isn’t at least 28
  • “How many years he has left at Clemson?”

Renfrow was picked by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played in 13 games, started four, and made 49 catches for 605 yards and four touchdowns. But he also suffered a punctured lung in Week 12.
